Marlborough Open Studios opened last week-end and continues until the end of the month. There were 28 visitors last week-end and I sold 3 paintings. More importantly people were impressed by my work and are amazed by the variety. For my part I enjoy working with different materials and in various styles. I enjoy going out into the country-side and painting in pastel "on site" but I also enjoy my life-drawing classes and then developing a painting of figures and imagining a story about them which I put into the painting.

Marlborough Open Studios was a great success .  I sold 12 paintings" including a commission. I have left some examples of those that sold on my web-site.  They are : The Avon and  Salisbury Plain,  in" Lanscapes"
